An understanding of agency relationships is vital to a license holder’s survival and ultimate success in the field of real estate. This course is designed to assist the student in understanding the various types of relationships that may be created in a real estate transaction.
Law of Agency is a course required by the Texas Real Estate License Act (TRELA) for all persons who want to obtain a real estate license. This course meets all the statutory topics and ethical standards required by TRELA.

  • Learn the basics of Agency Law including the duties of a license holder when representing a seller, buyer of both seller and buyer.
  • Included in this course is a copy of the Texas Occupation Code Chapter 1101 (TRELA) as well as a copy of the National Association of REALTOR®’s Code of Ethics.
  • Online proctoring of the course final exam included.
  • Students are expected to invest at least 15 hours of self-study outside of the classroom experience.
