Sylvie Shurgot

Sylvie Shurgot originally from French-speaking Belgium, Sylvie became a Texan in 1989. Before obtaining her real estate broker’s license in 2008, she taught Mathematics and Statistics at Saint Mary’s Hall for 11 years. In 2018 she began to work on her appraiser’s license, which she obtained in 2020. In 2022 she became an instructor at the San Antonio Board of REALTORS. Sylvie’s hobbies include hiking, gardening, beekeeping and cooking.

Tony Dias

Tony Dias, hails from a long line of military patriots. His grandfather served in the United States Navy during World War II, and his father was a ‘lifer’ in the Marine Corps for twenty-five years, doing tours in both Vietnam and Desert Storm. In 1985, the legacy continued when Tony followed in his father’s ‘yellow footprints’ and joined the United States Marine Corps as a Communication Electronics Technician. Tony Dias is certified by the State of Hawaii to teach real estate agents about The New VA Home Loan Benefit for the Real Estate Licensee and is also certified by the National Association of Realtors to conduct the Military Relocation Professionals Designation. One of his goals is to increase the knowledge about the VA Home Loan benefit with other real estate professionals to better serve those who have dedicated their lives to defending and serving our nation.

Stephen Etzel

Stephen Etzel is a seasoned and self-motivated Real Estate Manager and Training Professional offering 21 years of teaching experience with an average survey score of 4.95 out of 5. Skilled in developing curriculum for new and existing courses and performing updates for state and national materials. Comprehensive background in real estate, technology, digital marketing, and business development.

Ara Fresperman

Ara Fesperman, has been helping sellers and buyers with their real estate for over 13 years and holds an active real estate license in Texas. Growing up as an Army brat she knows what it is like to move. She is a 2nd generation realtor after her father, so helping people in real estate services is in her blood. Ara has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Ara teaches Texas Contracts Bootcamp at the REALTOR Academy.

Tina Wilcher

Tina Wilcher’s legacy in real estate began over 25 years ago when she became a 4-plex property owner in her early twenties and real estate assistant to her husband. Since that time, she has gone on to become a licensed REALTOR, Professional Development Director for Century 21 Exclusive Properties and Certified Real Estate Instructor who teaches on behalf of Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) , Texas Realtors (TR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Fidelity Title Group, Real Estate Business Institute (REBI), and many others across the US.

Will Curtis

William Curtis will serve as SABOR’s Chair-Elect in 2023. Will has been a REALTOR® for nine years and specializes in commercial real estate. He is a 2023 Texas REALTORS® Director and National Association of REALTORS® Director and has served on both TR and NAR Commercial Federal Policy Committees, as well as several committees locally with SABOR. He is also the 2022 President of the San Antonio/South Texas Chapter of CCIM and serves as an Instructor for the Institute of Real Estate Management and for Texas REALTORS(R) Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist Certification. In 2019, Will was named one of the San Antonio Business Journal’s “40 Under 40”. Will is a TREPAC Sterling R major investor and is in the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Class of 2023.

Ginger Unger

Ginger Unger, CCIM, launched her San Antonio brokerage, Secor One Commercial Group, in 2005 and handles the company’s leasing, development and brokerage operations. Ginger has many years of experience in tenant and landlord representation, commercial development, and market and financial analysis for investment properties and has also served as consultant to commercial real estate attorneys. Ginger has authored and taught numerous classes on commercial and residential real estate to Texas agents, brokers, underwriters, and investors. She holds REEA’s Gold Standard Instructor Designation and the CREI certification.

Irma Carabajal

Irma Carabajal grew up in Lubbock, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Texas A&M and attended Kaplan University. Irma gain most of her experience as a loan officer and a real estate investor. She has over 30 years of experience in several realms of real estate. Irma is a certified Texas Real Estate Instructor. Irma brings a wealth of knowledge to the real estate education industry. She currently teaches Qualifying and Continuing Education courses.
