Requirements
Who Needs This? A residential REALTOR® is licensed to act on behalf of a real estate broker in providing real estate services and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®. Residential REALTORS® assist clients to buy and sell property. A real estate broker is a licensed agent who manages an office or is a sole proprietor. He/she may sponsor and supervise licensees in one or more office. Additional education and experience are required for broker licensure. A commercial REALTOR® is a licensed real estate agent and member of the National Association of REALTORS®. A commercial REALTOR® assists clients to buy and sell income-producing property, such as office buildings, retail property, hotels, apartment buildings, and shopping centers. A property manager maintains a property including negotiating leases, ensuring tenant satisfaction, collecting tent and pricing units on behalf of a property owner to protect their investment.
